LEGO honors women of NASA with these cool new minifigs

Great news for LEGO fans, NASA fans, women in science… heck, great news for everyone; LEGO has greenlit a new “Women of NASA” minifig set. Designed by science editor and writer, Maia Weinstock, the minifigs celebrate the history of women in STEM.

The set features:

  • Katherine Johnson (mathematician, subject of the film “Hidden Figures“)
  • Margaret Hamilton (computer scientist)
  • Katherine Johnson (mathematician and space scientist)
  • Sally Ride (astronaut, physicist, and educator)
  • Nancy Grace Roman (astronomer); and
  • Mae Jemison (astronaut, physician, and entrepreneur)
